Sooki House

Jeju, like a scene from a film — at Sooki House

Sooki House is a place to pause — run by a film producer and a photographer who moved to Jeju and wanted to share a slower way of living. We invite travelers to step away from screens, disposables, and fast food, and into the kind of quiet curiosity you might remember from childhood summers at a grandmother's house: flipping through old photo albums and peeking at a worn diary.

Memory-making experiences

Life at the pace of an old film

Sooki House is shaped around a Sunday-like journey — analog moods, well-loved old things, and the attic-daydreams of girlhood, gathered little by little. Listen to music on LP, watch films on VHS, read comics and travel books, keep a sketch diary, and try zero-waste habits along the way. *Our collection list will be updated over time.

Sooki House House rules

Sooki House is designed for solo travelers. Bedding and a mattress are provided. We share the space with Nam-eun Studio during office hours (11:00 am–5:00 pm), and you are welcome to stay in — we will share coffee and tea.
Please limit disposables and plastic use. Personal cookware and heating devices are not allowed (portable induction cookers, charcoal, grills, gas burners, electric mats, etc.). Strong-smelling cooking indoors is not permitted (e.g. mala hot pot, grilled meat or fish, spicy stews, cheonggukjang). Dispose of food scraps in the freezer bin. Minors cannot stay without a guardian. Pets may not stay indoors. Parties and events indoors are not allowed. No barbecue provided. No smoking indoors, including e-cigarettes. We are in a quiet village — please keep noise down after 10:00 pm (keep films and music low; avoid loud drinking or games). We are not responsible for lost valuables. Please wash dishes and sort recycling before checkout; we inspect the room at checkout and guests are liable for damage caused by negligence.
